modify and notice
What could I do to make the most of my bow. Mq1, nap quicktune, 29in 70lb 80% let off. Shooting Carbon Exp 300. Im asking wanting to make the most of what I can without buying a new bow. Replace rest, overdraw etc. What could I do to notice a big difference. Im getting bored with this and im not convinced on a complete upgrade as my last post. thanks for all......Mitch

Sounds to me like you just want to spend some money!
Your bow is one of the sweetest shooters going. You already have a good rest on it.
I prefer the GKF Golden Premier myself, but yours is a good one.
If it will make you feel any better, just send me 800 bucks, and you will have that new bow feeling.
There are lots of good bows out there, but I doubt any actually shoot better than yours.

Doesn' t sound like a bad setup. Try switching stome stuff and trying new products. Magnocks maybe? I ordered some Turbo nocks just to play around with...give me something to play with for a while. You might also want to pick up a recurve or longbow. I found plenty on ebay and other places and got an old Ben Pearson for $50. Man what a blast to shoot! Instinctive shooting is SO much different than the bells and whistles I have on my Bowtech. I love my Mighty Mite, but the recurve is just plain fun to shoot. The upside is shooting one makes me better at the other. Try setting it up to bowfish. Shoot different broadheads. Play with the fletch hellical. Change your arrow weight and see how far out you have to shoot to see a difference. Tons to do. I never get bored...just the opposite, I don' t have enough time to play!

If your wanting additional speed and want to spend money........you could change to a 70% cam and put Winners Choice strings/cables on it !! Drop your arrow weight a little, try feather fletchings, etc.
If you want something new try a new sight (adjustable 1-pin maybe), new peep, stablizer, etc .
If you like your set up and are bored shooting buy some different varieties of 3-d targets , that' s fun !!
If you want an Ultra 2 e-mail me !

I think these guys are giving good advise. There are lots of little things you can do to keep your interest going. One thing I' ve done, is to start making my own strings and cables. It' s real interesting to see what you can do with different materials, and construction techniques with strings. You can make them lighter, faster and more colorful. You can tweak the string lengths to see how that affects drawlength and brace height. You can make them quieter, more durable and overal better than anything you can buy. Bottom line is you can make your bow shoot like a true custom setup. I' ve found that the string is a very important aspects determining how a bow shoots and feels.
