Default Streight up tear ?

I just put a new Vaipor string on my Drenlin and being old school I havent paper tuned a bow in over 20yrs,anyway here is the deal.Iam getting a streight up 1/2-5/8 tear,no left,no right,no down just up,I shot at 5yrds from paper and its allup tear with all 12 arrows....Now my ? is I went to a Lightspeed 340 arrow this spring and Iam hitting 20-30-40-50 just fine but the up tear brings me to belive my spine is weak,Iam shooting 67lbs at 28" draw with Mechanical release........
So to all you teck folks out thier am I wrong with this thinking,Iam going back to the heavier beaman ICS 340 hunters with 4" vains rather then the Lightspeeds with Blazers and wont be paper tuneing again.....And yes my timing,rest,D-loop are all spot on.....

Well a staight up tear says you have a high nocking point. Lower it 1/32" at a time until the tear goes away. Or you could raise your rest.

And just because your going to a simular spined arrow does not mean you won't have to paper tune or bareshaft, or walkback, etc, etc.

If the lightpeed 340 is weak then so will the Beman 340. The Bemanis heavier but it has the same spine as the light speed so you wouldn't be fixing anything. Which, BTW, theyshouldn't beweakfor your set up.

Move your nocking pointdown slightly or raise your rest slightly.

I didnt think they were weak but that was the only thing I could think of but again I havnt shot the Bemans thru paper ether heck havent shoot anything thru paper in 20yrs,maybe i will cut out a box and make a at home paper tunerand see what they do.....I also should say Iam useing a WB.....Maybe Iam being a little toanel about it,its not much but to some it would be conciderd unexceptable and as far as the arrow in the taget's they hit square and no wobble, cork screwing, nothin I really notice and to me its better to have a little up then left or right.....Being I put a new D-loop on it might have moved O so little when I tightend(pulled it tight)it down after it was on the string...Maybe being how/in the way the D-loop tightend up it could of moved up just a hair..
