Ok, I finally changed from being a whacky basket guy to a dropaway person
and I have a QAD ultra on my 82nd. Which in my opinion is a winning combo.
I just put on the rest and started shooting x's right away. I only had a noise problem so I asked around on HNI and someone said to change the launcher with the TL1 launcher for dual cam bows. So I changed the launcher but I looked and doublechecked and my blazers touch the bar on top of the rest. [:@]the noise was the same, so I foamed the riser a bit and that helped.....
Anyone else got this problem ? Or shoot the normal launcher for the blazers ?
I would like to see some QAD rests set up on bows, so pics pics pics.....
graçias,
Frank

I have the old and new model qad hd, the old one didn't have the t1 with it. the new one does, this year I bought a elite gto, with bi cams and yes the t1 laucher doesn't work with blazer vanes. I turned my nocks until it worked. some guys are cutting the top bar off and using blazers, but that will void your warranty. call qad and see what the say and keep me informed.

I have the Ultra rest on my bow, and my wifes. Weboth use the TLI launcher with blazers.
I did however remove the top bar. I just don't think it is necessary, and the rest holds the arrow greatwithout it.
You do NOT have to cut off the bar.
It is simply press fit in there. Just take a punch and tap it out.
I have heardof a lot of people cutting the bars off, and all they need to do is tap it out. It is then able to be put back in if necessary.

I shoot blazers with my QAD with the TL1 on it and I haven't had a problem with it hitting the bar. I've sprayed it with foot powder and really never noticed any hits on the top? I have a Katera XL and it's was a drastic improvement over my old trophy taker.
