Default Bow painting/dipping?

Does anyone know of a place where I can get by bow repainted/dipped? i would like to make it jet black? I thought I saw something on dipping cams so I'm sure a bow can be done.

Thanks,

There is a guy named Gene Ragulsky, who is on this site, that did one recently with a finish called Dura Coat. It came out really good! It's an air brushedflat black that is normally used for firearms.

if your riser is aluminum the best thing to do is anodize it and the cams. Then have the limbs matched to the anodize. This will last the longest. I have some people in Arizona that can probably do the anodize.

What is the process in anodizing it? I would kind of like a black bow and if possible do a 3 color black camo? What is the cost on something for the whole bow? It's a Vectrix so yes, it's aluminum.

Thanks,

Rick

Anodize is basically chemically adhereing the pigment to the the aluminum and yes they can do black (shiny or flat) as far as the camo I would have to check and cost wise I will also have to look at that. I will get back to you asap.

Much appreciated. I can do without the camo but I would think a 3 tone black camo would be pretty cool and the black is nice for the Turkey blind too.

I think Gene Ragulsky was talking about $75 to $100 for the Dura Coat process.

That's not a bad price. Do you know if they do limbs too?
