They are great strings. Remember, the strings on your general are the same strings they use on the speed bows like the 82nd airborne (350 FPS IBO). If you don't like them, I recommend Zebra Barracuda Strings. They are just as fast and you can get them in a variety of colors.

Oh boy Dan and Russ on the same wagon!Someone explain what the floating yokes concept does on a string.Since I have one now want to know if thats something to look into on future strings.

I was hoping to get a debate going between you 2 Russ! Since it is a Bucknasty string I'm not about to replace it and it does shoot well...I take credit for some of that...the rest goes to great string/bow combo!I think the B/I likes me.

I got the impression Gibblet likes the floating yoke, at least for Hoyt bows.

When I got my Tech29 back in 2001/02, it had the winners choice string on. I shot itfor 4 years and it still held up fine. Didn't creep. I replaced it with gibblet string. My friends still shoot the original string that came with theirs, same model and same year.

gibblet string is great too.
