How does bowtechs and parkers force multiplier wheel match up to darton and hoyts cps systems? Is one better than the other? Do they work the same?pros/cons of each? any input welcome!

Just bumping it up for you Dennis. I wish I could help but I don't have the fancy machinery to do that kind of testing...nor do I have any Bowtech or Parker bows handy....

I haven't seen or done any testing on the "new" half-moon Gen 3, but on the older round wheel models as well as the Parker Force Multiplier, there is a pretty big difference between them and a CPS system nock travel wise.

The older round-wheel Force Multiplier has a nock travel of 5/8+" from rest to full draw when done on a machine or crankboard. It is neither straight nor level, but has a pronounced dip. I shot one of these bows for almost a year, and really tried to "work" it. I cannot say anything bad about the bow itself other than the fact that IMHO it simply did not give me the "complete package" I was looking for, and it demanded the heavier-spined arrows. But it was "neat" and I like new technology, and cannot complain about it's shortcomings because it was a first-year offering. As stated I don't know how the new model is compared to the older one, maybe someone else can jump in here. By comparason, the Darton CPS (Maverick) is approx 1/16+" total nock travel. And it is very straight.These bows shoot very well once setup but are definately another animal and should be tuned and maintained by a knowledgeable tech or someone very familiar with them as all "hybrids" should. I have not tested or seen results from a Zen cam or any other "hybrid" offering recently, but can assume they are only getting better as time goes on as well. As stated before, I firmly believe the future evolution of solocams will be based on utilizing "hybrid" systems, simply because a conventional solo system is about out of options for new developments without utilizing some sort of hybrid element to continue it's progression.
