I had a Tribute but only shot it at 28.5" draw. I have heard very few people mention negative comments about the Tribute but bows, valleys, etc. are a personal thing. I would have the bow checked out by a qualified tech as it doesn't sound right.

When you change out draw-length mods, you must adjust the draw-stop peg accordingly. This is more than likely what you're experiencing.
When your bow had the 29.5" mods in it, the peg should have been set around the "3" mark. Now that you've switched to the 30" mods, you need to move the peg down to the 2.7 mark. To count lines, start from the "L" side of the cam, using the center of the bolt as your guide.
