I also use the bitz and slim shafts . I found by moving the blazer up to the forth mark from the botton I got the best flight and best seat with the blazer on the shaft . I also use fletch tite platium

I switched from Bohning Blazers to the VaneTec HP 2" (Identical profile but 4 gr. lighter per 3 at 15 gr. where blazers are 19 gr per 3). The VaneTec bases seem to fit the shaft better and I've had NO adhesion problems at all. I use either the FT Platinum (on bare shaft) or the Loctite super glue gel (on wraps). The VaneTec's are super durable and extremely accurate with broadheads. I think I gave around $13 for a hundred (inc. shipping) on Ebay.
