I'm all for supporting your local pro-shop, howver, when it comes to tuning your bow and you're willing to spend sometime learning about your bow this is some good info...

Tune it yourself.

The shop is not going to be able to tune it to the way you shoot, grip etc.

Easton also has a very good tuning guide on their site.

This is a point where it would be very helpful if someone local could give you some pointers. I learned on my own pretty well. I did take one class. Made a bunch of mistakes. Still learning. You are going to need a bow scale IMO. Maybe a portable press. Some of the knots most on here can show you. I say give it a whirl. I took an old PSE and learned on it. Something I wasn't scared to break

I say try it yourself and if you can't get it just right see what the shop can offer you. If it gets better with them helping you tune try and learn from this.

Do it yourself, but keep notes on adjustments you made, that'll make it simpler to fix if youthink you've made a mistake.
