I need some help - I'm new to bow hunting. I know I need to wax my bow string periodically. I've done so, but how do you wax the string at the point were I nock the arrow? Picture below. Last year on opening day of deer season (on my old bow) the string broke in that location.

Help!

I don't wax that part. If you see that the serving is worn out replace it and the string shouldn't break.
