Where can I find teflon tape for my bodoodle?

You can get teflon paste or tape at any hardware store, or big chain store. (Lowe's, Menards, Home Depot, etc)

But, I don't know if you saw it in your previous Bodoodle post, you may want to try out heat shrink tubing instead. You can buy this at the same store you would find teflon tape.

Dave, you aren't referring to teflon thread tape are you? That stuff will not hold up to this, no way. IF I were gonna use teflon tape on that, I would order some clamp release tape from Bohning. Shrink tubing may be better..

You know what? I have a strip of the above mentioned tape at home. PM me your addy and I'll send it to you to try out if you want.

Oh, another thought. Would moleskin work??

Thats what I suggested in his other thread;)

Shrink tubing will work but it wears out quick and costs a lot more than mole skin.;)

I think moleskin would be a good choice Germ. I have used it on a few rests and it holds up very well.

Heck, as long as you're in the "trying" mood... what about that spray-on rubber lining you can buy in a can? Take your prongs off and spray 'em down good with that... ought to be quiet, and should last for a long time.

Hmmm... maybe i ought to file for the patent right away... [:-]

I do this in my Treestands, they don'y rust and are not slippery. Less noisey also;)

DUHHHH.....what an ingenious idea. Doesn't get much more simple than that either.
