RE: insert question

Yepper, 24 HR epoxy for sure, but only after you clean the inside of the shaft where the insert goes. It could be that the glue you are using can't get a bond to the inner surface of the shaft due to carbon dust

I just use hot melt glue.

RE: insert question

don't use hot melt on carbon.

clean the inside of your shaft with denatured alcohol before you glue the insert in, then just use super glue gel. I use it and have never had one pull out (well, one that wasn't cracked at least).

Do not use gorilla glue, it expands as it dries and could cause your carbon to bust easily.
