I just got a new sight with a 6x lense. I tried shooting it without a clarifier peep, but the target was blurry. I don't know anything about clarifiers. Do I need to match the clarifier with the power of the scope or will any clarifier work? Thanks

stinky,
I recommend the peep set that you can change the size of clarifier. The company is Specialty Super Peep Kit. It has different powers and peep diameters. Becareful when you buy. One peep installed may work great outdoors in good light at a target butt. But when you aim at a 3D in the woods, you can' t see the target. Know what you are buying.

It can get a bit tricky. I' m lucky enough to have a good friend who shoots for Specialty and he has several different size and power combinations so we could figure out what I needed. The web sight will give you some generalizations, but probably won' t help you nail down exactly what you need http://www.specialtyarch.com/superpeep.html . It would be great if you had a dealer that carried the stuff (and had an assortment on hand) and could help a guy like your or I find the right combination, instead of taking a stab (at about 18 bucks a whop) and going from there.
Good luck!
