LAST SUMMER, MY GIRL FRIEND WAS SHOOTING HER HOYT ON 38LBS AND HAD THE ARROW SPLIT AND BREAK DURING THE SHOT. I JUST THANK GOD SHE WASN'T INJURED. AFTER INSPECTION WE REALIZED THAT HER RELEASE FAILED AND CAUSE THE PROBLEM. IT JUST BLEW UP IN BETWEEN THE STRING AND RISER. I BELIEVE, IF THE POUNDS WERE SET HIGHER SHE MIGHT HAVE BEEN IN TROUBLE.
