Default Inventors please help

I have a great idea for hunting and have built a prototype that works. I am not a rich man and would like to know how to go about getting some one to help me out. Any advise would be really appreciated.

Thank you

You will probably want to get in contact with a patent attourney,or whatever they are called.
You must start with a patent or the idea will be copied and it still might be even with it.

I need to do this myself and my boss at work has one so I am considering talking to him about it.

Putting a patent on something is not cheap. You can patent something in the U.S. and it doesn't count elsewhere unless you get a global patent which is big $$$$. Some guy in Europe can just see it and steal it and sell it on eBay in the U.S. Contact an expert on patents (which isn't me) and find out. Good luck.

You never want to actually patent any product. Once you patent it the patent is only good for a certain number of years that then people can buy the patent. However ,you do want to file for a patent on the product and leave it patent pending. If you ever notice manyproducts on the market are patent pending and I believe that costs no where near as much as actually getting a patent.
