Has anyone used these arrows? Likes? Dislikes? Would they be ok for a hunting arrow? I have a chance to get a dozen for 70.00$ is this a good price for them?

Price seems OK for them. I shot them several years ago and foubnd them to fall well within specs. Because they are a light shaft they will be fast. Maybe a little fragile, but don't miss. Don't shoot rocks and trees and don't shoot groups. Arrows aren't made for that.

You may give up some potential penetration, but if you're shooting them properly spined for anything above 50# or so on deer sized game you should do well with them.

That is what I am currently shooting and i like them allot! These arrows are classified as hunting/target arrows. I know a few other guys who use these for hunting. I haven't broken any yet! I think 70 buck is a good deal on those arrows.

Yea the rocks and trees don't treat arrows nice at all. I knew that i would be giving up a little KE but my ss program tells me i should still be in the area of 75 ft/lbs of KE. How accurrate these estimates are i don't know. But i should be getting about 301 fps out of my buckskin at 70# 30" DL with lightspeed 340's cut to 29".

Computer program or no, I'll tell you, you should shoot the 300 spine, not 340.

Easton only lists the lightspeed to 340 on their website and their catalog.

Would your arrow rest allow you to cut them back to 28" or less? That would effectively stiffen up the arrow spine a bit.

I belive i can get down to 28.25". OT2 is telling me that at this length for hunting it will be ok.

Of course now that i said that i had to go break two arrows at the range last night[&:].[&o]
