I already got my new bow for 2003, a HOYT RazorTec! I put a Muzzy ZE rest, TR 3 pin Micro Matrix sight, and a HOYT/Doinker stabilizer on this bad boy and let me just say this set-up is awesome.

I can' t decide! I better soon. I have it narrowed down to:
conquest 3
or
q2Xl
I want the bow to hunt with plus a little bit of 3-d in summer and some indoor in the winter.
I bought a new one last august a bow that is 31" I love the bow but I' ll never buy another bow under 34"

I just ordered a bowtech blackhawk. It' s got a lot of what I' m looking for for the $$. If I don' t like it when it comes in the dealer said no big deal, he could easily move it with the spec sheet it carries for 2003.

DaveC,

That is a great bow. You will probablly like it, it is still fast, and it is very forgiving.

Funny I just responded to your thread.
I was wanting a bow with a better than 7.5" brace height and the mighty mite fell a little short. I thought it' s 7.2" brace would be very little differance than the 7" brace height bow I' m currently shooting. That was until I measured my bow. Although it came with an advertised 7" it measures 6 7/16 to the throat of the grip. With that being the case I can only imagine that 7.2" would have been just fine for me compared to what I currently shoot.

A friend of mine is opening a new bow shop this year, so I will buy whatever he ends up carrying. I want to give him some business and support whatever brand he sells.

Almost all bow companies make good equipment today, so it won' t matter to me. I have no brand loyalty whatsoever.

I just purchased a Martin Altitude which looks like will suit my needs well. I plan to turkey hunt with it this spring and also use for deer next fall. It really is comfortable to shoot sitting on the ground if need be. By the way I' m new to this site and only about a year into archery thanks to my 16 year old son so try to bear with me

I just recieved my new 2003 Mathews Icon. Although it isn' t going to be a hunting bow (since it is in the Black cherry color) It is one of the smoothest , shockless bows I have ever shot. The finish in my opinion is as good as any bow on the market today (including Merlin, and I owned a Merlin so I think I might be able to judge it impartially). The Mathews is worth every penny it cost.

Personanly, I like my wife' s Darton. It' s smooth, solid, adjustable, and heck of alot more affordable. :D Probably in the 70# range to allow for the slow decline in use. Single cam of course.[8D]

I just bought a new Hoyt Razortec yesterday. I outfitted it with all new accessories since I' m changing over from my 13 year old bow which I shot with fingers. The combination of speed, quietness, weight and other considerations all factored in to my selction of this great bow.

I picked up my TRX up 6 days ago. How sweet it is. Had the moduals changed out to 65% let off to qualify for p/y. Smooth and no re-coil/vibration at all. Mathew owners, eat your heart out.;)
