it's not brand new..it was a dealer bow that i got for like 200.00 less than brand new, because he was clearing stock out for the 08's. it had been shot a few dozen times, and a lot can happen to the tubing over a year, dry, and what not.

I'll stick my neck out just this once. The tube should not have broken this quickly. I'll bet that it was oo short when installed so was over stressed. A tube should not stretch a lot when you draw the bow. It's purpose is to align the peep and it takes very little pressure to do that. Make it any shorter and it's going to shorten it's lifespan.
