Putting anything but the recommended string and cable lengths on your bow will void your warranty and is not advisable. If you wish to shoot in the lower 60's, I would suggest buying a bow with 70-lb. limbs and turning the limb bolts down to achieve the desired poundage above 60; likewise, if you want to shoot in the high 50's, you would need to purchase a 60-lb. bow.

I e-mailed diamond to ask that same question an they said the string is 93 5/8 and the cable is 37 1/4.

how do you measure your strings??

These are the current/correct lengths for the Marquis.

pat, was there a sticker snafu, or did the lengths get changed (were any marquis made w/ the shorter lengths - in other words have the cams already been changed). i've got an order to fill - and the sticker on the bow has the shorter measurements. the sticker on the bow at the shop that i broke down to get serving dimensions had the sticker length w/ 93 5/8", and 37 1/4". i also measured the cable to make sure it was close enough w/ the 37 1/4" sticker - and it was.

Gibblet, Did you measure the sting and cable or did you just measure the cable? I ordered a new Marquis yesterday and I'm thinking of putting new strings on but from what I'm reading here looks like there are two different lengths. Maybe I should e-mail diamond to what going on

Mat.

E-mailed Diamond and asked why was it that people were getting different readings from their stickers and all they replied is that the string 93 5/8 and the cable is 37 1/4, but he didn't say any else so.. I don't know! I'll have to wait for my bow to come in before i order new stings...
