Shortening a Bow String

Shortening a Bow String
I am going to replace the string on my Hoyt in the next couple of months. The bow was orginally a 27" draw length and I had it increased to 29" by the local pro shop. Looking through the charts, I'm noticing that they call for a slightly longer string on the 29" draw length.
I'm trying to visualize just what affect string length has on such things as brace height, draw length, and draw weight. Does a shorter string pre-load the cams a bit more, and cause the let-off point to occur earlier - or this all offset by the increase in brace height?

RE: Shortening a Bow String
Shorting you string will increase brace height, shorten your draw and less poundage. If you shorten you buss cables the same too it will per load your limbs, but will increase your brace height and poundage.
