Default getting new eastons

getting new arrows for my new bow.. shooting 60 lbs (60-70 lb bow) and 27 1/2" DL .. i was looking to get the ST Axis 400 spined arrows.. but was thinking of getting the 340's for a little stiffer arrow
anyone have any input?was gonna stick with my normal 100 graintips.. and fletch the shafts with QS 4" witch are normally heavier then regularvanes.. about 36 grains.. thanks!

this is the my first time going to eastons.. normally shoot gold tips ..

reason why i was gonna get the 340's is my buddy is shootin almost the same bow setup and his proshop set him up with the 340s aswell..

With a draw weight of 60# and an arrow length of around 27" depending on your rest, I would definatly go with the 400's. The 340's will be more than a little stiff for those settings and may cause tuning problems.

thats what the chart said was 400's.. they should still give me enough room to play with my DW ? i may add a few pounds eventually

yes the 400's will still be plently stiff enough to handle weights up to about 70# with a 27" arrow. I am using a 55/75 goldtip prohunter which is a .400 spine and my arrow length is 26 3/4" with a 70# draw weight with no problems at all.

I could be shooting 400's but since I am shooting 220 grain broadhead, I had to go to the 340 spine. The proper spine is the most overlooked thing in archery. I've seen many pro shops sell the wrong spine. IT DRIVES ME CRAZY.. Almost as bad as seeing finger pointing from the grip.
