I don't think you can ever be too quiet....however my silencers on my Guardian fell off within 100 shots. I then added an STS and she is very quiet with just that on there.

think most guys that use my MeanV String Suppressor do not use string silencers, but then I wouldn't trade a few fps if there was any increase in noise. I like Quiet!:D
I don't use string silencers on my Guardian with Dan's MeanV. It super quiet. Get one you won't regret it.
They work extremely well on the Guardian. It's hard to believe you can silence a bow even more,as quiet as the Guardian already is, but you can:D

I found with my Allegiance that with a STS the bow had a higher pitch to it with the stock string silencers. So, i took them off. I've even sampled with putting cat whiskers on and found they did nothing tomake the bow more quiet than it was with just the STS.

However, I know someone that took his silencers off and it made the bow louder.

I have a MeanV suppressor, and Sims super string leeches in both my string and cables. I also have bowjax on my limbs and a Sims Modular stabilizer. You can't be too quiet IMO.
