Default HELP

sorry if this is a stupid question, i'm new to bows and bow hunting. I haven't shot my bow in about two weeks. I just got it out because i will be hunting this wednesday. Well, i noticed that a piece on my bow is broken and i need to know where i can get it and exactly what it is called. It's the plastic piece that holds the string out of the way of your arrow. It has a groove or hole in one side of it that goes on the straight bar coming back from the bow its self. I don't mean to sound stupid and i hope somebody can help me out without laughing to hard. I would like to fix it tonight if possible. not sure if walmart would have the part i need or not.

Is it on the cable guard? Sounds to me like you're describing the cable slide. You're pro shop will have one. Pretty inexpensive, bout 8 bucks for a good one.

And by the way.......Where the heck have you been? Or have I just missed you? Haven't seen you around in a while.....

Yeah, sounds like a cable slide to me. Pretty much anywhere that sells bows should have one.
