Kind of hard to explain but I put thr risor on my feet while sitting and pulll the cables back until the guide clears the rod , hope it makes sence

BC...i put it on without pressing it.

i thought it was impossible...but somehow i put the cables in the right slots and gave er all i had and got it on there....i really thought it was impossible for a while:) :D but i did it. the guy at the shop made it look easy when he installed my new string ;)

Well, got it on tonight. Somebody on here was right. When the cables put pressure on it, it slides nice. I think I am going to like this. I better for how much it is.

I love the commander, but can't believe they put such a piece of crap slide on.

You could have removed the rod from the bow first, install the slide, reinstall the rod.

That was me.:)

I kinda figured that was the problem that's why I asked. I thought the same thing....I took it out of the package slipped it onto the rod and thought "that seems tight, how the hell is it going to slide" But after the cables were installed it was like butter.
