I heard that Mathews was going to be spending more money on nocking and bashing their competators with ads. Heard that they are bringing in all sorts of high tech equipment to show that Bowtech and Hoyt's products do not equal what they advertise.

I don't think Mathews will come out with a speed bow in the 350's they will probably just tweak what they have with gadgets and stuff as mentioned earlier.

It should be interesting.

Hi,

The rumor I heard is, that Mathews developed a bow with 60# pull with a performance of a 70# plus.

Yeah they did. They bought BowTech and put shrouds over the top cam to disguise it as a round idler. The new bow is called the Black Icon II.

Sag, you can belive what Pat says about stacking $h1/. I've shot with him in the summer.

IF M-M-M-Mathews(dang that was tuff to type) or any other company Does come out with a faster bow than the bowtech BK it would show that bowtech has arrived and would be a complament IMHO and healthy for the fastest bow part of the market because I don't see bowtech moving the speeds any higher until someone either surpasses or equals there speed you know bowtech has at least another 25-50fps saved up for use at a latter date. Heck they have been on top of the market as far as speed goes for the last 3 years and no contenders have step up yet.

I must be the one here that thinks 300fps is plenty fast. Why would anyone want to shoot 350fps and have all the more problems with tuning problems and equipment durability?I think it's more about EGO than anything.JMHO.

I'll use the extra speed and turn it into energy with heavy arrows for hunting.
