Default is it common?

to have an new carbon arrow shoot like crap? I tore a vane off so I grabbed a new arrow out of the box and went out to shoot. 1 out of 3 arrows was hitting far right or real low. I thought it was me till I marked the arrow and without checking I shot 3 arrows, go down to the target and the bad shot was the same arrow every time. It didn't shoot bad every time but probably more than half. I was shooting my 3d deer and the shot would be in the stomache area most of the time.

i have had things happen like that and then my sight gets nocked out of place from i guess getting nocked around then i fix it and the arrows is fine. i dont know even though it was like that try it tommorow and see if you get the same results it could be you because you know it is a bad arrow and you are expecting a bad shot and then there is a bad shot, atleast that is what i thought i went out to shoot and it is fine.
hope this helps

I will try tommorrow to be sure but I marked the arrow and did not know which one I was shooting. When I went down to the target it was the only one out of place.

I'm a dummy. Not sure why I didn't do this before but I looked down the arrow and it is bowed to the right. It was shooting to the right. Makes sense now. I rolled it on a table and it went clink clank clink clank. The other arrows were smooth. Good thing I found this out. I knew I wasn't crazy.

Yes, and the arrow in question may have the spine out of spec also.

I had to go through 2 dozen GTs to find 10 arrows that flew well with broadheads! I will be switching brands next year!!
