I'd use them for dinking around. Don't see myself going back to them for deer hunting though. There are fun just wish they drew quieter.

I went back to them for my old PSE Nova. Im shooting XX75 out of them now with 125 gr tip. They are working very well. I still shoot carbons out of my Hoyt though.

Why would you even think about going back?

RE: MAKING THE SWITCH?????????

Because they have straighter tolerances than carbons from the factory as well as better weight consistency tolerance than carbons from the factory. Plus when shooting them out of my older PSE it is a lot qiueter and I have actually been shooting better with it.

Sort of.........I now shoot carbon/aluminums and can't see myself ever going back to all carbons in the near future.

RE: MAKING THE SWITCH?????????

Top of the line Aluminum will beat bottom of the line carbons in lots of areas. I do shoot some Aluminums, but I prefer the top of the line Carbons. A lot of guys buy the cheap carbons and think they are shooting top notch carbons. There is a difference, and they both have their place I suppose;)
