Nice to see Matt/PA and PABowhntr posting on the same thread. Reminds me of the "good old days" on here. This rest seems like one I will have to check out. I am not changing things on my 2 bows that are already set up, but I have (once again) a Pro 38 Dual Cam to set up, so I may have to look into the hostage option.:D

The rest doesn't look like it would accomodate an arrow with four fletches either.

On another rest note: I got my NAP quiktune flipper in the mail about a week ago but since my season starts in another week it is going to have to wait.

Just had the Hostage installed on my Guardian yesterday. So far so good. Haven't had much of a chance to really put it through the ringer, though. I do, however, feel better about having no fletching contact. I'm shooting 4" vanes.

I actually think it'll last longer than the WB I had before. It only took me 3 weeks to wear out the bristles in my biscuit and begin to lose accuracy, but since vanes aren't contacting the bristles on the Hostage, I'm thinking it'll be more durable.

You really can't go wrong with either one, though.

Jeff,

It is nice to be posting again. Things have been really hectic on my end with both jobs and my two little boys. I am happy but just haven't had as much time to tinker with my gear as I once did. Plenty of guys in the shop at night now though. ;)

Hunting season is right around the corner. :)

I agree with BigJ, after using both I think the WB is the better rest.

I shot one for 2 months and the bottom bristles wore down so bad the arrow would just slip off. I will try to dig it out and get pictures. I ended up with a QAD hunter.

I looked as the hostage for my Tribute, BUT , I think w/ vane up the cableclearence will be an issue.
Does anyone have a Hostage on a Tribute? How's the clearence w/ the stock slide?
