I talked to the guys at BT this afternoon and they said BTS was putting yours together and had major problems and they cant ship it before June<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Geeezzzzzz JeffB, what did you ever do to deserve that? You sure catch some serious flack<img src=icon_smile_blackeye.gif border=0 align=middle>. 500, if you get two 30 inch Pat DC's before I get mine I'm goin' to be twice as green with envy! Sounds like the grip is going to be perfect for my liking.

I am certainly no expert when it comes to bows, but do not think the new '03 Patriots are that much better than the '02 model. I have had 3 days to shoot this new bow and do like it more each time I shoot it.

The speed is better per the factory spec sheet, but only by 10 fps. I have not chrono'd it yet for myself. The bow is noisier than my '02 (but again it is faster), but I am not overly impressed with Bowtechs &quot;hush&quot; products. My '02 models have Sims products on them and that may make some difference.

At first, I thought the draw cycle was worse on the '03, but now have decided it is only different, not better or worse.

Please do not take this the wrong way, I like this bow and really like Bowtech products. I went through about 6 different bows in '02 before I shot a Patriot (and immediately bought a second as a backup). I just do not want people to think they are getting some huge step up from last years models.

Jrb, I also have the '02 Pat and love the bow even if it is a little top heavy. The '02 Pat was a great bow IMO that needed only a few refinements which is what BowTech has done in '03. Although I haven't recieved mine yet, I will enjoy the weight savings, better balance, smaller grip, more accuracy and even 10 more fps will be good. I wonder what they can improve on in '04? Much more stored energy in the draw cycle for more speed may be too much for the majority of archers. I think BowTech has given us what we wanted in a hunting bow with as high a brace as the Patriot Dually has. One thing for sure, we'll know more at this time next year!
