RE: im stumped...
Yeah it all moves once you drop off from max draw weight. Not much, but it does change since the limb timps come closer together when the poundage is relaxed. |
RE: im stumped...
I have had some recent misadventures with serving shifting. If you shoot with a loop, is it possible that the loop has moved, or if you have tied in nock locators within the loop, that the serving has shifted, and they are putting pressure on the nock that wasn't there before? Just a thought.

RE: im stumped...
When you twist your loop on the string it corkscrews up or down your string depending on which way you turn it. It's like your loop is a nut and the string is the bolt. If you twist it a lot you could be moving your nock position. I add a tied in nock above my loop so it can' t corkscrew up the string. I just make sur the loop is always tight up against the tied in nock.

RE: im stumped...
so last night i was looking over my bow...trying to figure out what moved. that prong tension adjustment is SOLID..i couldnt move it. couldnt move the rest...couldnt move the sights. what did move, effortlessly...was my nock. i have a single nock at the top of my loop. i touched it and it moved! also noticed my serving was worse than i though. no sense getting it reserved when i got a string coming......maaaaaybe today...im beginning to think the mailman bowhunts or something?? lol..
but that seems to be my problem. i tried playing with it...but the serving is unravled and shot...im not even shooting till i get my string on. i can see it now "local bowhunter shoots himself in the hand...while the nock on his bow flys off and shoots clean through his hand. donations for a crossbow can be sent to Mauser06...no chance of this idiot drawing a bow back this season!" |
