Thanks for all the replies. I guess what I should have done was taken a trip to the pro shop back in January and just drawn a bunch of shafts through my rest.....
However it did occur to me that a smaller diameter shaft has less surface areain contact with the whiskers...and the thicker wallsmight muffle any noise that the shaft produces as it is drawn across the bristles.I think I might be on to something......

Try getting a silicone based automotive paste wax and wax your arrows. That'll slick 'em up and maybe they won't drag through the rest so bad.

I actually have stopped using the Biscuit for now, because the arrows I like (Carbon Tech) make too much noise on the draw. I know that Beman ICS Hunters, ST Axis and Epics, etc. in black are very smooth and make almost no noise when drawn through the Biscuit. I have not tried any camo arrows that were quiet with the Biscuit.
