I tell everyone I can about this thread. It is such a service to all archer's and the best tutorial out there.

And I have to thank you Greg for letting me put the link in my thread. That was so thoughtful and I appreciate it.

I think EVERYONE should see this tutorial.... in a magazine perhaps! :D ;)

Greg, I got my material from Catherine last week and followed your instructions to the "t" and man it turned out good. Those nocksets top and bottom do make a difference, seems the loop doesn't pinch the arrow like it did before. My wife liked it so much she wants me to order some more colorful string and thread and redo her bow. Thanksagain.

Greg, How do you tie the bottom nock set? Do you do the same as you did with the top one except upside down? I can't seem to "wrap" my brain around this.

Wow this just helped me a lot I think I am going to try this out this weekend because I would love to tie my own d-loops.

Geronimo, I tie the bottom nockset exactly as I did the top one -- with the exception that I make eight wraps instead of four.

If you look at picture # 4, you'll see I'm about to make my fourth wrap before inserting that tag end into the loop created by the dental floss. I'll then pull that tag end back through and UNDER the wraps I just made.

On the bottom nockset, I don't pull that tag end back through until after I've made eight wraps.

So, you are only using one dental floss length and knot tying string length for the two nocks(top and bottom). Is that right?
