Staggered flethings?? Is it worth it?

I've seen arrows fletched (with Blazers) offset from each other. Each about 1/2" ahead of the other.
The claim was more accurate BH groups and tuning, and better arrow flight in cross wind(s). Especially at 40 - 60 yards.
Is this true? And why the Blazers?

I've played with the staggererd fletching a bit and haven't seen that it's a whole lot better than standard fletching. It does seem to help some, but not enough for ME to fool with it any more. Someone else might think any little bit is worth the extra trouble - and maybe he doesn't mind shooting wierd looking arrows.

I personally don't think it matters if your vains are staggered or not. I'm a firm believer that "if you think it works, then it works for you". As for staggering 4" vains vs 2" blazers 1/2" I think in some set-ups one of the vains could start to creep intoyour rest.

I tried it before, all I think it did was look stupid. Didn't make my arrows fly any better or worse. For sure not worth the trouble in my opinion.
If you want better control, use more fletching it's really that simple.
