Which String To Choose???
 

I want to buy a new String and Cable setup for my Hoyt that I do not need to let settle before tuning. I think that pre-stretched strings are what Im looking for. Does anyone know any good pre-stretched strings out there?

Vapor Trail and Winners Choice make good strings.

Gibblet supposably makes good strings. You can find him here on this site.

Gibblets strings are Top Notch, he also can answer any string questions you may have.Would advise you to talk to him before you purchase any string.

No doubt that you should contact Gibblet. His strings are as high in quality as you'll find, but less expensive than some of the major brands. And made from the same materials, I might add.

Sorry to thread jack, but my reflex (hoyt) bow's string has some small frays and rips in it. I keep it waxed, and have shot it for more than a year. Should I replace it?

Yes, and contact Gibblet. I can tell you how sore your face can get from a frayed string. I had a bow blow up in my face a few years ago..."Smarts"

The winners choice strings are a very good string . I used them before and they wore like iron but they are pretty pricey

It has been said before contact gibblet his strings are as good as they come and less expensive.

But no matter what GOOD quality string you put on there will be some shoot in time, with John's strings around 50 shots will have it all settled in and ready for peep installation and tuning.
