another quick question>drop away rest cord

Yes, when drawn back it flips the fork all the way up. Bad thing about it is the string is tied so close to the forks.

it looks to me like your cord is to stiff. i have never saw a cord hump up like that one. I would try a more flexible cord first.

correct me if im wrong, but that arrow is so far gone, the cord aint gonna give it any trouble by the time it gets up there

As soon as the rest falls, the cord can be in the way. The whole idea of the drop away is that the rest falls before the arrow is clear, so the cord may indeed be hitting the arrow. There's some good slow motion video of a fall away on the QAD site.

As Kodiak says the cord can definitely hit the arrow.

After looking at the pictures some more I'd probably slide the cord down on the cable so the cord pulls down instead of straight back. That should get rid of the cable sticking up. Try facing the cord out first though and see how that works.
