It's always better to have the shaft a little stiff for hunting. And there are ways to increase spine stiffness if the arrow is a little weak. Wraps are a good choice. Any weight added to the rear of the arrow will increase it. With a 100 gr tip the 340's are very stiff for your draw length and a 28" arrow.

Dynamic spine is often overlooked when choosing an arrow and the charts get you to a point.
