Default New String Question

I shoot a 2006 Hoyt LazerTec and my string is starting to get a little frayed. I plan on getting a new string and i have narrowed it down to either a Winners Choice string or a Vapor Trail string. Which one would be better for me? I mostly hunt with my bow but me and my friends do some local 3-D shoots. I want to get the best string i can so any info would be greatly appreciated.

Either would be an excellent choice.....I was in the same quandry last week and ordered a Winners Choice for my Vectrix. Another EXCELLENT option would be to contact gibblet here on HNI...he makes quality stuff as well.

I would have gone that route if I would have thought of it.....[:@]

Although I have never used Vapor Trail I have Winner's Choice on my hunting bow. I don't know how the price of Vapor Trail compares, but I have also used strings from Gibblet, a member of this site.

His strings are IMO every bit as good as Winner Choice. In fact, his serving jobs are superior to the WC's on my hunting bow. And the cost is about half.

PM him and see what he offers.

Anybody got a link to one of Gibblets forums? I might go with a Gibblet string as well becouse i already got a MeanV CSS and im trying to get some wraps from Onestringer so ill have the most customized bow in my area for sure!

Also, alot of local hunters tell me the FUSE strings are good, does anybody have one of these?

Fuse is indeed what comes stock on Hoyt bows.....we're talking replacements though.

Gibblet is also on archery talk, goes by bucknasty there. Do a member search here for "gibblet" and you'll find him. I would suggest sending him an email over a pm though.....He responds to those much better.....In fact, if you can't find it, shoot me a pm and I'll give it to you.
