I used to get the halo effect, but don't anymore. What brand of contacts do you use. I use the accuview advanced, and now there's a new one with an even higher water content, which is great for eye health and comfort. I love shooting with contacts and have never shot bow with glasses.

I'm currently wearing Sofmed 55 contacts. I have found that using eyedrops to moisten my eyes prior to shooting helps alot. I've also swithched my pins around so I'm using my green pin as my primary pin (20 yd, yellow 30 yd & red 40 yard). Thanks for all the suggestions.

I wear contacts , dont have the problems you have , but it maybe the sight is too bright , ask someone else to try it and see if they get the same thing , if so put some doct tape arround a portion of the fibberoptic .

It you are getting the same halo around steetlights at night ,Id definatly go back to the doctor and try a differant brand , or perscription ,

i wear contact lenses and shoot MUCH better with them. I cant stand wearing glasses anymore. I'm not sure about the halo effect though.

I didn't have much trouble unless it was dreary or starting to get dusk. I bought a new sight with brighter fiber optic pins this year. So far it seems a lot better. Hope this helps.
