Who cares about speed, with a 31.5 inch draw he could just reach out and smack the deer with his arrows.

keno,
Guys are actually complimenting you due to length envy!!!

You have to realize that most guys shoot 29" or shorter. Without a D-loop I can shoot 30.5 draw length but prefer to use a D-loop and go 30".The arrow is till smoking when it leaves and when it hits with a 430 gr arrow.

With the increased length you can get speeds out of heavier arrows that other guys have to go real light to reach. Or, they have to crank up the bow too. The difficult part is finding arrows that spine well.

By the way. What arrow and weight of tip are you using? I have some 29.5" long CX Terminal Hunter Camothat weight 519 gr. I might take them to the shop with me this weekend to see what speed I get.

Be happy with your height while you still have it. I was 6'3"+ when I was 20 and due to back problems am now closer to 6'2".[:'(]

I blame Ontarget for that mistake. I didn't think so myself but was giving them the benefit of the doubt and should have went with what I thought was true.

According to them the Guardian is the only one that does not have the mods.

The final choice was mine so I plead stupidity.

I'm willing to admit when I'm wrong TFOX. Seeing my mistake made me feel like that ESPN commercial where the guy is talking out his a$$ about sports.

Plus, when both mods gave the same speedsI should have looked at the Bowtech site again t oconfirm what I was seeing.

Iknow shorter guys that draw further than what would be considered standard. I'd bet your friend falls into that catagory. When they draw the peep is right beside their eye and the nock is back by the ear.
