I know people,including pros that do the same thing with the timing but they prefer the top cam about 2 twist ahead of the bottom.One has even won a huge national shoot or 2.

I have even gotten into creep tuning with it this way and it tunes perfect.


I have not had an oportunity to shoot these new cams so I can't say if they make a big difference with timing or not.


Just because you got the rest to shoot bullet holes does NOT mean it was tuned.That is done in the yard at distance and then when you check the paper,you should have a bullet hole(or close to)



Atleast it sounds like you have a knowledgable guy helping you out.That is a big advantage.Just pick his brain and apply it when you try to do things yourself.Then he will be there to bail you out in time of need.[8D]


If you want to try and see if the rest made a difference,adjust the buss cable back to where it was with wb and see if it still shoots bullet holes.This might show you how critical the wb is to tune.
