Default 2003 UltraTec

Has any one got to shoot one yet. I got a 2002 UltraTec flame last night in a trade and my 2002 cybertec is going on the auction block. I was wondering If I should sell this Ultratec too and buy a 2003 model? Will there be much advantage?

I've had my '03 ultra tec for about 10 days now. I'm certainly no expert but I don't regret buying it. I've probably put 200 arrows through it and have mainly been concerned about getting the accesories quieted down, string stretched, etc. After 20 years of round wheels the narrow valley and wall take a little getting used to. (Don't creep!) I have a variety of arrow lengths and vanes around and the bow doesn't seem to care what I put through it, at least out to 20 yards, which makes me think it will be forgiving. I really like the little things like timing marks that I can look at and know immediatly if things are ok. I don't think, however, that it is a miracle bow. I'll probably get a new one in 10 years or so.

thanks for the info, I am kind of at a crossroads at the moment. I found out that the 2002 ultratec I just got is a 29" draw. I like to shoot a loop and shoot 28.5 draw and a loop. So I have to decide, no loop, buy a new cam or a new bow. mmmm
