I started on and still shoot a Bowtech Equalizer. It is my love and I find it very difficult to shoot anything else. I never have problems with it and it is smooth and as quiet as can be. I realize a woman's opinion ofa bow will differ from a man's, but alot of the guys I shoot with at the bow shop love the Equalizer. I think it is definitely worth checking out.

so all i need to do is go to a sporting goods shop find what draw length and draw weight is suitable for me in a compound bow and im set to go online shopping?

my firstbow was a walmart special.. 100 bucks for everything came with sights rest. erverything u need to start,,, an by god it killed a deer!

but the main question is for a beginner is it better with a compound or a recurve , i went to the store jus tnow. the shop owner just simply told me get a recurve as it is just more fun than a compound bow. is it true? cause he said compound bow need to have some technique to shoot it etc compared to a re-curve? can a recurve bow be fitted with those gadget sights that is used on a compound bow?

p/: why is there so many long sticks on those used in championship?
