Thanks, I didn't think I was crazy, I have been waxing the serving also but it has small white hair like fibers all over it I guess its starting to fray, If I replace the string what is a good replacement. Its an 85in

There is a geltleman on this site, Gibblet, top notch custom strings, and the price is right...do a search on this subject and you will see how may of us have gotten his product and swear by them....he is highly recomended.

Thanks I have found an archery shop were I can get my string changed at. I have a Bear Instinct and believe the string is 85in.

Have to agree, got some Bohning string wax and another chunk of just bees wax. Hear tell there are some better things, but what I have always used and it works!
