Just an update. I talked to the shop today. She said she noticed the scratches when she put it in the press to change the limbs. However she wasn't sure how they got there. But, she did not hesitate to tell me that when the next Allegiance comes in, she'll swap me. Im very happy with that. I still think they might know what happened to the bow, but as long as its made right, I don't care.

I suppose that's best. Still a bunch of crap. Made right would have been from the begining when first noticed. Do these people think we have time to continue fooling around all the time.

RE: UPDATE - Allegiance Issue

Ok fellas, I'm going to try to get better pics. I tried tonight, but the lighting I had at the time stunk. Its a difficult thing to capture a clear pic of. But I will say that mine measured just a hair short of 1/8" from the side of the cam to the limb. This was on both ends. Before, the bottom was fine, but the top cam was basically against the limb.

The shop said they are giving me a complete new bow in exchange for mine. I'm pleased with that and they have me eating crow. I didn't give them enough credit. They always treated me well there and I don't know why I doubted them this time. I guess I was getting pretty bent out of shape because I haven't had a bow for almost a month.:D

Also, Bowtech was great through the whole process. I still think they need to work some bugs out of things out there in terms of getting product to customers but all in all, they're very good.

Anyone thinking of buying a Bowtech, DO NOT HESITATE. My issue, was taken care of. Others having similar issues will be too. They make awesome bows, and I can't imagine switching back to a Hoyt or going to Matthews or any of the others at this point.

MM88,

Glad to hear the shop is taking care of you, not all shops would do that.

I finally got to target shoot and site in my Allegiance today and can see why you were so bent out of shapae waiting to get yours back. Simply 1 word "AWESOME". I've also talked to their custpmer service department on the phone and Pat has been of great help thru email. Have fun shooting.

I totally agree with your comments. The bow is unreal. A real tack driver.

Pat from Bowtech is a top notch guy and was real helpful with my situation the couple of times I talked to him.

This sucks, I also take very good care of my equipment. If the shop cares about the customers they will find a way to make it right.
