Default Stealth Stabilizer... My own view.

I have had a new 8" Stealth hunter stabilizer in my possession for around 3 weeks.
I had planned on testing it and reporting on it much sooner but circumstances prevented it until now.
Finally got around to testing it out this past weekend.
As most of you know, I own a bunch of stabilizers. I reported owning 14 on another post but found two more I had forgotten in a drawyer for a total of 16, lol.
I was already intrigued by Matt's report on the Stealth a few months ago.
I talked with Jerry by email and he shipped me the 8" Hunter.
Of all the stabilizers I own, my 9" Kyber is the king of recoil reduction with my Tranquilizer a close second.
So, no brainer, I decided to test my new Stealth against the Kyber and Tranquilizer and see what happened.
I used my Super Nova with its split harness for the test bow.
I started with the Kyber and shot it 10 times.
The Kyber is the only stabilizer that silences the buzz of the shoot thru harness on my Bowman.
It worked great as before and silenced the buzz on my Super Nova.
Then I shot the Tranquilizer 10 times. It performed well but didn't quite equal the Kyber.
I was going to shoot the Stealth next but decided I wanted to follow the Kyber with the Stealth.
Shot the Kyber 10 more times and attatched the Stealth
I fired off the first shot with the Stealth attached.
It wasn't earth shattering and I didn't say "Wow" but it was definitely quieter.
No, it didn't put the Kyber to shame but it was the quieter stabilizer.
But considering it beat the best stabilizer I have even seen or shot, that's pretty damned impressive in my book!
I switched back and forth a few more times to confirm the Stealth was indeed the winner.
A guy with a target recurve was on hand and curious about the Stealth.
I let him give it a try.
He did say "Wow" after trying the Stealth. He said, he felt zero hand shock with the Stealth attached to his bow.
Then a couple Mathews shooters tried the Stealth and were very impressed but said they didn't want to order another stabilizer.
Too cheap I guess, lol. Their loss.
The guy who owns Kyber is known for dropping his stabilizers on a concrete floor from shoulder height at shows he attends.
They smack the floor and fall over.
I didn't want to drop my stabilizers on a concrete floor but noticed the floor at the range was concrete and covered by a thin carpet.
I figured, even the thin carpet would make them bounce slightly and was right.
I dropped both stabilizers from shoulder height several times.
Both stabilizers performed identical on this test, bouncing slightly and falling over.
But considering the Kyber was heavier, the Stealth did fine in this comparison.
Another comparison to consider, the Kyber goes for around $20.00 more than the Stealth in similar lengths with black matte finish. Plus, the Stealth is tapped in the end for accessories. The Kyber isn't.
In conclusion...
If you want the best hunting or hunter class 3-D stabilizer made anywhere at a great price that outperforms all others...
Get yourself a Stealth.
They are the best!

Oh Great, I thought Matt/PA was just jiving us the whole time and now I read this report...

I guess I'll have to give one a try sometime myself...

What does Jerry offer less than 8" and what are the weight ranges?

Here's the website for more info. I think they had prices listed and the ability to order online, but I wanted to ask about a camo stab so I emailed instead.

Sagittarius, your findings mirrored mine exactly.
I felt that my two stealth stabs slightly outperformed my kybershocks of the same length. It was not miles ahead, but noticable.
Pretty imppressive to me, considering that until now the kybershocks destroyed everything else I have.

Maybe we should pool our resources and open a used stabilizer shop!
Between the two of us, our opening inventory would be about 35 sticks!

Sag,
I too was wondering when you were gonna post something about this stabilizer.......
You know its one of the VERY few products in any area of the sport that I could or would blindly recommend to anyone because its works that well. The trick is just finding the right one that balances properly with their particular set-up.
I had no doubt that you would be impressed with it.
You may want to also post your findings over on that other SITE and educate some people who seem to think anyone who shoots a Stealth must be hallucinating.

I went on a trip for a couple weeks and left my Stealth 8" with the owner of Corner Archery here in AZ. I told them to let their pro's & techs try it out and tell me what they think. When I came back two weeks later they had Stealth's in stock and one of the pro's was working to get sponsored by Jerry. These things work.
