i'm not sure nodog, mike and i are buddies and we're trying to keep in contact regularly about techniques and twist counts we're testing, and a lot of top secret string stuff (i hope that last part made you laugh) - and i know he avoids a lot of issues by installing the strings himself. i let a guy send me his bow recently because the shop couldn't get them on - it was a sb xt - i put em on and the cable needed 1 frikkin twist and it was perfect ata, bh, dl, and poundage. i've had folks send strings back because the peep went crazy - well i get them and they're twisted one way under the serving - and the opposite way where there's no serving - so someone untwisted the string all the way, twistedit the wrong way - put a peep in and handed it back to the customer. the peep did a 270 - which is what happens when the serving and string are fighting eachother. not sure if it was an accident or thefellow got scammed by the shop - but mike doesn't have to worry about any of that when he installs them.

It did before reading the I hope part. Whatever you decide.

I've enjoyed seeing you do so well with your business and look forward to what if anything may come. I remember when you and Mike were not as close as you are now. I'm happy to hear that has changed as well.

Pure sap I know, but I mean it.

I don't know how close you are to Maryland, but you're more than welcome to stop by the shop anytime, and bring your press for 'tooling adaptation.'

Call first before you make the trip.

I-95 runs just 2-3 miles from my shop just south of Baltimore. You would have to go way out of your way to miss a trip to Macrotech.

I'll look forward to your call.

Well there was, a few years ago, a time when you were getting a lot of heat from people who used him over at AT and you expressed it here. At that time it was mention what a great guy he was. I said if he was such a great guy he would stick up for you and tell the others to cool it. I'm pretty sure of it, but maybe your right, after all it was you that it was happening too. Doesn't matter now. Your relationship with him now is just one part of this story I've enjoyed hearing about and is proof that what they've said about him is true.Everything has worked out for the best.[8D]
