RE: Arrow building 101
Nice write up mobow! I've always been interested in fletching my own arrows and might have to go out and buy me the proper tools after I get my Guardian.

OK here's a question...when using the right helical jig, how do you get the base of the vane to make full contact with the arrow shaft?? I've started piddling around, and my straight jig works great (I was just testing as my helical jig was on backorder), but when using the helical the base of the vane is always a little up on one side on the finished product. I then go in and dab glue around the lifted areas....I know I'm doing something wrong. I have a BPE jig.

RE: Arrow building 101
kenman, you have to adjust the offset of the clamp. By moving the arrow left or right, just a little bit, you will achieve what you're looking for. That's the way it works on my Greyling anyway.
