I'd always wondered if this could be done. Guess it can. What do you think? I may have to play around with this a bit this off season, very intriguing concept...

Nothing like knocking your brace height down by 2"<img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>
Make a 7" bh into 5" bh and prepare to hunt very cold!!! That sucker would nock off my watch band<img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

I've got a better idea and it won't cost you a thing or make you sneeze with all that saw dust in the air. Learn to shoot with a high wrist. I have shot off the webb between my thumb and index finger for about 20 years and I think it increases my draw by about an inch. It also places the forces of drawing your bow more inline with the arrow rather than heeling the bow. It may take some time to learn to shoot well this way and to get the feel but for me I believe it reduces torque. I have big forearms and it helps to rotate my elbow out of the way. I also like a very narrow grip. Hope this helps.
