blazers offset

i hear you say stuff about them being staight but offset, how do you set the jig up like that. i have a browning ftetching jig with a straight clamp

There is a knob somewhere you can loosen and move the arrow into or away from the clamp. This will give you the offset you are looking for. If you can picture what offset is, you will maybe understand how to attain it...Offset is best described as the fletch running "across" the arrow...So the clamp can't be perfectly in line w/ the shaft.....If that makes sense...

Depends if you want left or right helical. Most prefer right helical. But it really doesn't matter.

For right offset (sorry, I said helical in my previous post, old habit...) I believe you would move the front of the arrow to the left.

Correct mob, the rear of the vane/feather (fletch) will be left of the forward end.

Right Offset will spin the arrow so that the point stays tight...although I used left for years and really didn't notice it. Right or left, still better than straight.

That wasn't advice was it? Just a statement.
