bow fishing ?????
I live on the chesapeake bay, during the spring I see skate everywhere while I am fishing for trophy rockfish, and I want to fish for them ,but I know nothing about the arrows . I see fiberglass being almost exculsivly as a shaft, will it hold up to todays bows, I shoot a G2 and my carbons are 286fps are the fiberglass arrows splined enought for my use?? I was planning on installing a penn spinning reel and a 2 ft rod on my stablizer, or should I use a hand wrap reel. any help would be app...

RE: bow fishing ?????
i've bow fished for carp for years, its a ball!! fiberglass work well. i shoot 65# but sometimes turn it back to 50# so i don't distroy my heads on the rocks.muzzy points have held up well for me.i use a zebco 505 closed reel with 50# braided line, just on my stablizer,no rod needed.good luck i'm sure you will have a great time.
